Thai Painting

We spent 3 months this spring in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, visiting family and shopping for the business. We planned to find and buy some great art to decorate our new house. By the time we got done with our shop-till-you-drop jewelry hunt in each country, we were too exhausted to do any more shopping and besides, had no more space to lug anything else, especially large and delicate art.
After we returned home to Utah, we randomly found this great (presumably) Thai painting at the thrift store for $15.00! How cool is that!

Framed Butterflies and Dragonflies

For an x-vegan/vegetarian, it does seem a little strange that I like dead and mounted insects. But man, are they cool! I love butterflies and dragonflies, and love them even more when they are mounted in a shadow box.
