Mexican Huichol Bead and Yarn Art

Original paintings, masks and other home decor designed with beads or yarn, a traditional art from the Huichol people of Mexico often depicting scenes of harvest or peyote ceremonies. Each piece is unique.

I met Chris Dyer at Pulau Perhentian, Malaysia.
Check out his paintings and skateboard art!

Framed Butterflies and Dragonflies

For an x-vegan/vegetarian, it does seem a little strange that I like dead and mounted insects. But man, are they cool! I love butterflies and dragonflies, and love them even more when they are mounted in a shadow box.

Background

We love art! Our first excursion into traditional art was Bali Hindu Paintings, depicting famous stories from the Ramayana. These vibrant acrylic on canvas paintings are all one-of-a-kind pieces by artist Ketut Mastra from Batuan, Bali, Indonesia.
